The World Baseball Classic got started this past weekend and the Americans are coming in hot with victories over Canada and Venezuela. The team looks to be much more cohesive than the team of superstars the USA fielded in 2006 and Captain and New York Yankee Derek Jeter thinks they can take it all the way this year. After the Dream Team took gold in basketball at the Olympics this past year, it looks like our baseball team will show the world why this is America’s game.
