Top 5 Car Gifts

December 22, 2008

So Christmas is just a few days away and if you are still looking for that special gift, Freshtoid is providing a 100 percent guarantee that anything off of this list will do the trick. We have had a lot of fresh cars up on here over the past year, but these five really stoof out. If you’ve got a grease monkey or gearhead on your list, then read on…and even if you don’t continue reading because a lot of work went into these lists.

5. Audi R8 – Taking it back a bit with a some FreshSesh love, (enjoy the green layout after the jump) the Audi R8 is solid choice. Having personally ridden in one, I can say it worth every penny of its $115,000 price tag.

4. Hybrid Escalade – If it is fresh enough for the Super Bowl MVP, it fresh enough for anyone one your list.

3. BMW Gina – This thing is not even made of metal, any car made of carbon fiber and textile fabric is fresh in our book.

2. Flying Ferrari – So you can’t exactly put it under the tree yet, but it makes a great IOU or gift card stocking stuffer.

1. 2009 Bentley Azure T Convertible – It also comes with an umbrella for those days when the convertible just is not going to cut it.

Flying Ferrari

November 4, 2008

We, or at least I, have been waiting for a flying car for quite sometime and as Doc said in Back to Future if we are going to transform a car, “we might as well do it in style.” The boys at Moller International have developed a prototype based on the Ferrari 599 GTB and if predictions hold true Michael Jackson and other folks with vehicles on pre-order could be flying around in them in two years. The vehicles are expected to cost $800,000. More info here. Flying alarm clock sold separately.

2008 Paris Auto Show

September 29, 2008

The best auto show in the world is less than a week away and it is certainly not going to disappoint. The Paris Auto Show is the largest auto show in the world and blows Los Angeles’ out of the water. Rather than seeing the same Fords and Chevys with different paint, you will find cars like the 2010 Lotus Evora and new Ferrari California. Click here for more of the preview, but we can assure you these whips are, “flier than a piece a paper bearin’ freshtoid’s name”
