Refrigerated Beach in DuBai

Having the tallest building in the world is not the only thing keeping DuBai fresh these days…how about a refrigerated beach to keep you cool on those 122 degree summer days? The plan is to install cooling pipes beneath the sand, refrigerate the water in the pool and even have a gentle breeze on the shore. UPDATE: World’s Tallest Building

Dubai might want to rethink their construction of their version of the World’s Tallest Building because Saudi Arabia is already promising to construct a building that is even higher. Saudi Prince Al-Waleed announced his plans to construct a Kingdom City development project in the city of Jedah. Few details have been released, not even a concept design, but Al-Waleed says it will be taller than the Dubai building and that it will cost over $26.7 billion. Perhaps Dubai will consider placing a really, really tall flag on top in order to maintain the record. More information click here.
