Blackberry Tour

It has been quite around the Freshtoid offices as we mourned the King of Pop’s death, but it’s good to be back and I think Michael would have wanted this way. Something else Michael would have certainly wanted would be the new Blackberry Tour. It looks similar to the Bold, but it has slimmer profile and the highest quality screen on any Blackberry available. From what we have seen, the phone is much more compatible with all of those social networks that are so popular right now, but the internet browser just does not compare to other smart phones out there. Blackberry Curve 8900

Another home run from Blackberry. It will only be available initially from T-Mobile, but chances are it will make the rounds just as the original Curve has. More details here.

Blackberry Storm Now Available

The Blackberry Storm is now available for 200 smackaroos with a two year contract from Verizon.  The phone is loaded with a ton of innovative features including the new SurePress system which allows users to click the screen down like a mouse button.

iPhones Twice As Reliable As Blackberries.

We don’t like to start fights (Freshtoid is most definitely a lover, not a fighter).  We just tell it how it is.  A new study shows that iPhones are TWICE as reliable as Blackberries.  You guys be the judge. 

Blackberry Thunder=Storm

Recently we reviewed Blackberry’s first attempt at touch screen technology with the Thunder. We have just learned that name has been officially changed to Storm and will be released exclusively by Verizon. Details of the phone are slowly being released such as it being slightly heavier than the iphone; it will also include a video camera and the cut and paste technology that separates Blackberry from all other smart phones on the market today. Freshtoid will keep you updated with info as we hear, but this is definitely the front runner for phone of the year at this point.

Blackberry Thunder

I think it is appropriate that the first official post for Freshtoid is Blackberry’s new Thunder. The Bold has not even been released yet and it is already old news. At the pace of this technology, you can count on Freshtoid for the freshest and highest quality commentary on the internet, so as the Thunder starts to cause a media storm, be sure to save us on your Blackberry favorites and keep hitting that ‘r’ button for all the latest buzz. For those using Blackberry’s to track Freshtoid, your device will soon be outdated; the new Blackberry will be the company’s first venture into the touchscreen market and will make it a direct competitor with Apple’s iPhone. Now Freshtoid has not physically touched one of the phones yet (we are expecting samples in the mail soon…), and there is some debate as to the authenticity of these pictures, but based on the names alone, which would you rather have in your pocket THUNDER or iPhone?
