Chinese Military On Segways

The Chinese military are currently training on Segways, in preparation for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.  These anti-terrorist drills seem to be indeed fresh because it allows soldiers to accelerate and move while keeping both hands on their weapon.

2008 Beijing Summer Olympics – Air Quality

Olympics? Fresh.  Poor air quality? Not so fresh.  According to our pals at USA Today, Beijing’s air quality has become worse since last month (top photo taken in June, bottom photo taken today).  

The Chinese Government claims the air will be clean by the time the Olympics arrive.  However, tests compiled by BBC show that the air failed to meet guidelines six days during the week.
